Renown local singer Evelyn Lagu has released a list of artists who turned up for her Kidney
transplant car was fundraiser that happened on Saturday afternoon in Makindye Division.
It should be noted that Evelyn is looking for a whopping 250 Millions to fly out to India for
an operation to save her life.
In a bid to collect the seemingly huge sum of money, singer Mesach Semakula availed his
famous bar & Restaurnat Papas spot in Makindye for all well wishers to come and fundraise.
As it has always been the case with musicians who need financial help for an operation,
Evelyn Lagu received overwhelming support from both musicians and the local community.
It has been revealed by the patient that the drive managed to collect an impressive 61 Millions.
”Thanks to the person who made this list though u left out so many people they were more than this may be u left earlier some were with us on phone but I appreciate a lot pls thanks to everyone that came thru u were so many am sorry I couldn’t mention all some were freinds,fans,well wishers I thank God for all of u” Evelyn Lagu posted
Langu also went ahead to release a list of all artists that turned up the fundraiser but
surprisingly some big names in the industry were no where to be seen
