Yesterday evening Uganda Hippos qualified for the finals of the U20 Africa Cup of Nations after thrashing
Tunisia 4-1 at Stade Cheikha Ould Boïdiya in Mauritania. A hat trick from Derrick Kakooza coupled with a strike
from Richard Basangwa sent the Hippos to the final match of the tournament where they will face Ghana.

The Hippos, however, conceded from poor man marking in the area barely two minutes later as Ben Lamin hammered
in a rebound off Jack Komakech’s save at the near post.

On a more curious note Bebe Cool’s son Alpha Sali also traveled with the team but failed to make it even on the bench
a big signal which tells you how talented this under 20 side is at the moment.
