Hassanal Bolkiah the Sultan of Brunei
There are many influential individuals in the world, the majority of whom we have never heard of. There are others that are recognized all over the world due to social media, such as Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, and Jeff Bezos.
Today we’ ll talk about a man who was once the richest man on the planet, but is no longer at the top due to competition, despite the fact that he still owns a lot of land.
Hassanal Bolkiah is the only person in the world who owns a plane made entirely of gold, and he also owns over 7000 flashy vehicles.
He is the 29th Sultan of Brunei and Prime Minister of the country, which is one of the world’ s last monarchies. He’ s one of the few Moguls we have never heard of.
His net worth is expected to be around $29 billion this year, making him one of the richest royals in history, according to Forbes. He collects high- end vehicles and is estimated to have a collection worth more than $5 billion.
Bolkiah also constructed a 1, 788- room palace, which was designed by Architect Leandro Locsin and kept a record- among his many other lifestyles, he reportedly spent $20, 000 on a single hair cut. He succeeded his father, Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien, who had ten children from several wives.
Bolkiah’ s father abdicated the throne in 1967 and declared him king while he was studying at the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst in the United Kingdom. Bolkiah ascended the throne after completing the academy a year later. Because of his multiple extramarital affairs, the man was dubbed a playboy.
Do you believe he had to buy all of those cars and an airplane?
