Evelyn LAGU much awaited kidney transplant hangs in balance following Ex husband’s advice to turn down their son’s offer of donating a Kidney a suffering mother.
In a recorded phone call, the dad submits that their son’s life after the procedure will not be the same for the rest of his life yet he is still young.
Andrew Sekisonge adds that since this is a business these profit oriented entities, there is no guarantee that the Organ Evelyn will get after the transplant will be fully functioning since they may be switched provided both will be unconscious.
In the same audio Evelyne is heard explaining how enough research was carried out and different tests carried on the Kid worth 100millionUgs and assured him that their son will live a normal life after.
“Its only that he will follow a diet low in salt, high in fiber and alcohol free” she added.
However, the son says seeing his mom suffer has prepared him to do anything possible to see her fully recover by donating his Kidney. Freddie has been residing with the Mother ever since the two parted ways due to domestic violence.

A fortnight back artists headed by Jose Chameleone held a car wash to help Evelyne Lagu raise UGX 250M for kidney treatment. The car wash fundraising drive was held at Papa’s Spot in Makindye.
According to sources, the artists raised UGX 61M to save a colleague’s life. On top of that generous traditional healer, Mama Fiina also gave Evelyne Lagu uGX 20M for treatment.
Mama Fiina also called out city religious leaders to at least contribute UGX 5M in efforts to get Evelyn Lagu flown out for treatment.
Pastor Wilson Bugembe heard Mama Fiina’s call and immediately contributed UGX 2M. But now with dad not willing to surrender son’s Kidney, more prayers are needed.
