As part of the program to send off the deceased Archbishop, a mass was organized in his honor at the cathedral ahead of the burial on Thursday this week.

Part of the burial program stipulates that a requiem mass be held as the cathedral today Monday 5th April, led by the Bishop of Luweero Diocese, Paul Ssemogerere.

Various leaders, christians and politicians including the Lord Mayor Lukwago flocked the church to pay their respects.

However, Lukwago, who was seated in the VIP section suddenly collapsed and fell to the ground.

2 men shiftly lifted Lukwago and evacuated him through the door linking to the priest’s residence

It is still unclear where Lukwago is currently at or in what condition he is in since he collapsed abruptly.

It should however be remembered that Lukwago has been recovering from a health condition he suffered last year.

In November 2020,the lord mayor was sent to Nairobi after suffering a life threatening condition called acute anaphylaxis, an allergic reaction.

He received treatment for his condition at the Aga Khan hospital. Lukwago spent close to 2 weeks bedridden at the Nairobi hospital before he finally returned.
