Too Many Unanswerable Qns As Kabaka Appears In Public Sick & Frail
The Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II yesterday celebratdd his 66th birthday.
Unlike the previous times, this year’s Kabaka’s birthday was celebrated scientifically at Lubiri Palace in Mengo ,Kampala with a few invited guests mostly Kingdom officials due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
As it was expected Kabaka Muwenda Mutebi eventually resurfaced to the public after good months without physical appearance.
Since his birthdays are some of the days celebrated by the Kingdom every year, the Kabaka opted to appear physically although he showed up looking frail and ill some tjhing which raised question marks among the Buganda fraternity.His conditions was so touching that a number of people on social media were left shedding tears.
Sources have since revealed that the beloved King has been battling a strange disease for over 6 month now and that his request to appear in public was honored because of his close care takers like Peter Mayiga.
About a month a go the Prime Minister of Buganda rubbished rumours that the Kabaka was critically ill instead assuring the subjects that the ‘Magulu nyondo’ was well and fine.However yesterday’s situation leaves Katikiro Myiga in a tricky situation on whether Baganda should continue believing his words.
Mayiga’s address about the Kabaka not being ill came after reports circulated on social media alleging that the reigning Kabaka had been rushed to Aga Khan Hospital in neighboring Kenya after his Health deteriorated.
The rumors were also backed by a voice note from individuals who claimed to be Kabaka Mutebi’s relatives that were demanding to know to the Health status of their King
In the same related vein singer Bebe Cool has come out to blast Kingdom officials for not doing anything yet the Kabaka’s Health is vividly deteriorating
