The world is still coming to terms with the shoot out that happened on Tuesday morning ,claiming the life of Gen Katumba Wamala ‘s daughter Brenda Wamala and driver Haruna Kayondo.Gen Katumba Speaks Out
Gen Katumba was ambushed by 4 vicious armed goons on motorcycles just a few meters out of his residence in Kisasi at Kisota road.
Gen Katumba who survived death by an inch was shot 4 bullets on both his arms and rushed to medi pal international hospital at Acacia Avenue dripping blood.
Gen Katumba Speaks Out
The General while speaking for the first time after the bloody incident thanked ‘God’for a second chance despite his daughter’s demise.
In a brief recorded video from hospital ,the frail talking General said his condition was steady and that he would pull through.
”God had given me a second chance, I will pull through, I don’t have bad injuries, only the arms, I am in the doctor’s hands and they have done everything possible” he said.
Gen Katumba also grieved the loss of his daughter who was innocently fired bullets meant for him saying its all God’s plan
We lost Brenda ,but that’s God’s plan ,she had nothing,she did nothing bad to deserve this but bad guys have done it .Katumba painfully said.
He has also asked his well wishers to stand with him in prayers especially for his wife who is still shocked at the death of her daughter.
