Pastor Bunginygo of House of Prayer Ministries church and his ex bonkmate Teddy Naluswa Bugingo have been given one last shot by the High court at mediation in their divorce case.
High Court Judge Justice Joseph Murangira says both parties have been given 3 weeks, and if the mediation process fails, the case will be heard.
This follows a divorce case filed by the city pastor in 2019 at the Kajjansi Chief Magistrates’ Court after he dumped Teddy to only bonk his then younger and bummy mistress Susan Makula .
Bugingo asked for dissolution of the marriage after he accused his wife of over 20 years for being disrespectful toward him.
However, the matter was passed to the High Court because properties to be split between the couple were valued above Shs50m.
The high court in Kampala then referred the case for mediation before it can be heard .
In divorce mediation, a neutral third party, called a mediator, meets with a divorce couple in an effort to discuss and resolve the issues in your divorce. … Mediation is much less expensive than a court trial or a series of hearings.
Now,, the Executive Director of Uganda National Roads Authority-UNRA, Allen Kagina has been picked to mediate between the ex bonkmates.
However ,the proposal is still pending as it waits approval from Kagina according to an article by the new vision .
Previously, the high court appointed Bishop Joshua Lwere, to mediate between the enstranged couple unsuccessfully.
This is after Bugingo protested the appointment on grounds that he was biased and partisan .
Through his lawyer, Ronald Ruhinda of Ruhinda Advocates and Solicitors to Katende Ssempebwa and Company Advocates lawyers to Naluswa, Bugingo told the court that Bishop Lwere was not fit and proper to conduct mediation with the defendant.
