Police have revealed that they have busted another assailant in the Gen Katumba shooting from his hideout in Luwero.
In a statement released by the Deputy police mouthpiece Major Gen Paul Lokech on Tuesday, the suspect has been identified as 30-year-old WAMPA HUZAIFA alias Kanaabe, a former member of Boda Boda 2010.
While releasing the statement at the police headquarters in Naguru, police mouthpiece Fred Enanga says Wampa was busted at Kikomeko village, near Kalule Trading Centre, Nakatonya Parish, Nyimbwa Subcounty, in Luwero district on Tuesday.
Enanga says police also managed to recover exhibits like a red motorcycle Bajaj Boxer Reg no.UEO 375D, which was used during the attack and other items.
”Other relevant exhibits recovered include the hood that he used to cover his head, an assortment of jackets, gloves, warm suits, and another motorcycle, Bajaj red in colour, registration number UDH 888V that was used in the surveillance of their targets,” Enanga says
Enanga says Wampa has confessed to being behind this shooting and that of many other high-profile killings.
