Ykee Benda’s Marriage Stunt With Jazmine Finally Pays Off As Their Collabo Trends No.1 For One Week

When former president of the Uganda Musicians Association Wycliffe Tugume popularly known as Ykee Benda came up with a crazy stunt in which he was seen marrying off fellow musician Lydia Nabawanuka a.k.a Lydia Jazmine, a number of people lambasting him for using old tactics for promoting their new song ‘Banange’

When pictures of Lydia Jazmine and Ykee Benda romantically holding out in introduction attires came out at the beginning of the month, a good number of critics bashed the Ykee Benda for trying to hard to promote a song through tired marketing methods.

While a small section supported him for going beyond the line, a good number bashed the idea saying if the song is good enough to play ,then it will automatically blow up & find it’s way to the top . But the question should have been, how many good songs have we seen go down the drain as a result of little pushing/Marketing.

Well, two weeks after the song was uploaded on YouTube, it now turns out that Ykee Benda & Lydia Jazmine were doing the right thing all along.

Perhaps of because of the awareness the song generated out of the shared introduction pictures on social media , the the massive banger has been trending on YouTube for one week now

To celebrate this milstone Lydia Jazmine took to instagram and thaked her fans for supporting the song
