Don Bwambale gives Komando a soft touch of RnB that has been rare in Dj Shiru’s songs which are commonly come with a dancehall vibe.

The song was produced by Dmario and Dj Shiru himself. ‘Komando’ is another good example of veteran Dj Shiru’s continued effort to help young talent.

Don Bwambale is a visual and performing artist who started his music career when he was in his primary school in a school choir. He later joined a church choir where he developed more passion and love for music before hitting the studio in 2015 where he made his first song while at the University. Komando featuring Dj Shiru is his second release.

About Dj Shiru

DJ Shiru (real name Kiberu Bashir) is an African Disc jockey from Uganda. He started his career at the age of 17 following his brother, a famous Dj Rota in Kampala, Uganda. Together with DJ Rota, DJ Shiru was one of the first Disc Jockeys to play music for international artists in Uganda.

256 Spin Doctor went on to become one of the top DJs in Uganda with his debut big event being at the Pearl of Africa Music Awards in 2006.

He later went on to host a number of international artists in Uganda as the host DJ to artists like R. Kelly, Sean Kingston, Sean Paul, UB40, Demarco, Konshens, Elephant Man, Beenie Man, Busy Signal, Kevin Lyttle, Akon, Wyclef Jean, Chaka Chaka, Chico Chimola, Davido, Sisqo, P Square, Fuse ODG, Patoranking, Neyo, Kiss Daniel, Alaine, Diamond Platnumz and a number of more local Ugandan house artists. DJ Shiru hosts a number of annual events including The Mega-Shirumatic Experience and East African Deejayz Carnival

Dj Shiru has also done a number of local collaborations with top artists like Jose Chameleone, Pallaso, Weasel, John Blaq among others.
