The opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has on Monday inaugurated Kampala city lord mayor Erias Lukwago as the new deputy president Buganda region.

Lukwago replaces Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo who recently quit the party following a presidential appointment as State Minister for ICT.

He will serve alongside the Soroti Woman MP Anna Adeke Ebajju who is now deputy president, Eastern region.

Ebajju’s position was previously held by Kevin Taaka.

They were approved by the party’s National Executive Committee-NEC.

The changes were announced by the party’s spokesperson Semujju Ibrahim Nganda while holding a presser at the party’s headquarters in Najjanankumbi.

Semmujju confirmed;”“We would like to inform our members, supporters and the public of our changes in our national leadership. NEC meetings approved Erias Lukwago and Anna Adeke Ebajju as Deputy presidents”.

In the same development, the NEC also approved deputy secretaries like;

Susan Nanyonjo ( dept sec culture, religion & ethics),

Hamis Walusimbi MUsoke (sec environment & natural resources),

Moses Okwera Mugisha (Secretary agricultural)

Dr George Ekwaro ( mobilization North),

Hon Steven ochora, serere district LC 5 chairman( dept sec mobilization ( East),

Hon Florence Kabugho woman Mp Kasese District ( dept sec post-conflict and reconstruction).
