Before anyone outside Sasha & Canary’s family knew about the day the two love birds would tie the knot at Rubaga Miracle Centre Cathedral, sensational and motor-mouthed journalist Andrew Mwenda knew all the nitty-gritties of the hugely anticipated day.

In fact, to show how excited he was about the young couple’s wedding day, Mwenda took to his official Instagram account and revealed the dates on which Canary & Sasha would be exchanging vows.

“Canary weds Sasha September 18, see they are even wearing the same suit,” Andrew Mwenda wrote at the time.

True to the post he made earlier in the month, Canary & Sasha walked down the aisle on September 18.

Perhaps to better illustrate Mwenda’s excitement on the day, is a photo we came across that captures it all; the happiness, excitement, warmth and pampering Mwenda extends to the bride.

In the photo shared on Sasha’s Instagram account, Mwenda who is standing behind the bride, looks dapper in a dark grey suit with a light blue shirt. He can be seen leaning over one bridesmaid, his left hand holding onto another and puckering his lips to kiss Sasha.

A clearly happy Sasha, who is dressed in a pink net like gown and surrounded by 4 smiley bridesmaids all clad in silky white attire, can be seen responding to Mwenda’s desire to peck her by tilting her head to the right for him to kiss her right cheek.

As usual when the photo was shared online a number of fans questioned the kind of relationship Mwenda has with Sasha Ferguson for him to be pecking her the way he did.

“I don’t get it. Mwenda is not Sasha’s dad nor uncle but the way he pecks her is not good,” one Mugume commented.

“I know it might be right in their tradition but this doesn’t look good in public,” Angella voiced her misgivings.
