Emmanuel Suuna popularly known as Omulangira OS has in the past days been trending for getting NBS employees arrested over offensive communication and criminal libel.

OS is still making headlines

This time around, he’s in the news again for losing his cool mid-interview, delivering a 30-sec long lecture before storming off while being hosted on Buziga-based STV, for what he believed was disrespect from the presenter.

“Let me teach you, whenever you’re going to host a person first make research and know everything about that person, never host me when you have not made research about me, I am not a Muslim,” Suuna fumed at the presenter as he gestured and made his point before dropping the mic and walking out of the studio.

OS was appearing on air in the aftermath of the hullabaloo created from the arrest of the TV presenters, who he says can only be released after they have apologised to him.

A few years back the ‘Byekola byoka’ singer converted from Christianity to Islam despite the fact that he comes from a Catholic family. However, in 2019 he became a Christian again claiming that converting to Islam to please a woman partly cost him musically.

Last Friday, OS dragged Next Media Service employees, Isaac Kawalya commonly known as Kayz, Brian Wakko, and Makko and blogger Isma Olaxes to court over defamation and character assassination. Kayz and co-accused spent two solid cold nights on remand in Kitalya Maximum Security Prison.

While on remand at the University of Understanding, the trio had their heads shaved clean by the skillful prison barber.

The three media personalities who host popular gossip shows on both Sanyuka TV and NBS TV did not appear in person at the court but rather, were projected to the courtroom via Zoom.

The projected image into the courtroom was a picture of humility with the accused looking like life had been sucked out of them.

On Tuesday Olaxess managed to secure a 10million non-cash bail whereas Kayz and colleagues were also released the next day.

OS, however, maintains that all these media personalities must not only retract the reckless statements made about him while on air but also apologize to him publicly.
