Uganda U20 Women’s National Team head coach Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi has summoned a provisional squad of 28 players to communicate preparations for the forthcoming FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifier matches against South Africa due next month.
Fresh from playing at the CECAFA Women’s U20 Championship, the focus for the Kiyingi coached side will shift to the upcoming games.
The first leg of the third round between Uganda and South Africa will be played on 3rd December at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende with the return leg coming two weeks later.
The coach has maintained players that have been summoned previously with Cyprus based striker Juliet Nalukenge also getting back to the team.
The team is now in residential camp at Cranes Paradise Hotel in Kisaasi and it began training on Saturday morning. To reach this stage, Uganda eliminated Kenya 10-3 on aggregate.
