With wedding bells around the corner, singer Cinderella Sanyu, alias Cindy, ‘The King Herself’, over the weekend introduced her fiancé, Prynce Joel Atiku Okuyo to her parents in a beautiful ceremony that was held in her ancestral home in Serere district.
Cindy took to her social media platforms to post the good news.
“Feel free to call me Mrs Okuyo. Prynce came home to my people. God is faithful,” Cindy posted.
In the clip posted on the 35-year-old singer’s Instagram page, she and her beautiful sisters step out of their parents’ crib, vibing on Zex’s dancehall song, Magazine, amidst ululations and cheers from guests.
The heavily pregnant Cindy is set to walk down the aisle on December 11. The couple held their last wedding meeting on November 27.
Okuyo officially visited Cindy’s family in Munyonyo in a traditional ceremony known as kukyala in May.
Even though the couple celebrated five years of their relationship in April, the two had kept their relationship a secret and only made it official in March 2020 when Prynce proposed to Cindy.
Before bonking with Joel Atiku, Cindy had a previous relationship with a Zungu, Mario, which collapsed. She noted in a blockbuster interview that Mario never believed in legal marriage but rather bonked on credit. According to her, that was the last nail in the coffin and boom, they parted ways. Their steamy romps resulted in a beautiful baby gal, who lives with the singer.
Cindy moved on and hooked up with Ken Muyisa, a loaded socialite and footballer who used to ply his trade in South Africa. She and Ken painted the dusty streets of Kampala red, bonking home and away with hopes of securing their future but their entanglement flopped after just one year. It was reported that Ken Muyisa was Fiina Masanyalaze’s boyfriend before Cindy allegedly snatched him.
