Anne Kansiime loses dad…
Sad news reaching our news desk confirms the death of comedienne Anne Kansiime’s dad.
The teary news has been broken by fellow Fun Factory comedian Teacher Mpamire, real name Herbert Segujja, who shared the death announcement on his Facebook page on Thursday morning.
“We have been hit by a Tragedy. Kansiime Ann / Entertainer has lost her Dad. May his soul Rest In Peace,” Mpamire posted.
The news is entirely devastating as Mpamire followed it up with a plethora of wailing emojis and hundreds of ‘RIP’ comments.
Details of the burial ceremony are yet to be announced.
Kansiime was born in Mparo in the present-day Rukiga District in the Western Region of Uganda.
Her father (now deceased) was a retired banker.

This comes in as tragic news for the African comedy sensation as she just lost her mother, last year in June.
The passing on of the mum came barely a month after Kansiime and her musician boyfriend, Abraham Tukahiirwa, alias Skylanta, welcomed their first child.
Joyous send off ceremony for mum;
Well unlike the usual teary send off, Anne Kansiime‘s mum’s burial ceremony was more of a celebration.
The 34-year-old funny star Kansiime said that her mother was her hero and a blessing to anyone who got to interact with her, that’s why the family decided to merrymake by her graveside
“It was a joyful send off of my hero.
A vigorous expression of the life she lived and the gift she was for all the people that had the blessing of encountering her,” Kansiime said as she paid glowing tribute to her fallen mother.
