Cindy impresses in brand new jam, ‘Local Man’
Female dancehall ragamuffin, Cinderella Sanyu a.k.a Cindy, is back in the music ring with a bang to reclaim her crown.
With this, the 37-year-old sensational entertainer, who has been on maternity leave, has released an impressive jam titled, ‘Local Man’. In Local Man, Cindy presumably sings about her Mr. Right, Joel Akuyo, owing to the depth in her lyrics, in Luganda, mixed with Lusoga, Patois and the Queen’s language.
“Local Man tamenya Azila nosonga ye ida kola, Tanyoma milimu, any ting a any ting him awan money. Nze nakoowa ba don abavuga Bima nasula enjala,” the talented mother-of-two exudes finesse and perfection as she dazzles fans with her multiple vocal notes.
Cindy’s voice is still strong. Her vocal control, is smooth, sweet, and she gets to her high notes, easily. Worthy to note is that Cindy, a certified stage performer, who is incredibly charismatic, and actually composes her own music.
With the vast experience she has garnered over the years, she knows what suits her audience, and In Local Man, a song with perfectly produced and mastered groovy beats, Cindy indeed delivers as expected.
Something about her songs is that they might not feature anywhere on the countdown but when she steps on stage to perform them, the fans sing along with her, word for word as they eat out of her palms.
