Bul and Vipers win big

Three people have been declared winners of the pilsner end of the month competition. Addressing a press conference today morning at Kati-kati Restaurant Lugogo, Mr Paul Kabikaramu unveiled the winners that included, the pilsner player of the month, pilsner coach of the month and fan of the month.

BUL Fc’s Simon Peter Okech emerged best player of the month, taking a sum of Ugandan shillings, one million and an accolade. In the month of March, he scored three goals, two goals against UPDF and one goal against Tooro united, made an assist against Busoga FC , two man of the matches accolades against UPDF and Tooro united.

However Simon Peter Okech, referred to his achievement as a land mark in his great football career. “Firstly I thank God for this win and also our coaching team, it’s never easy but the team work and the training made me have this””, he added

He was nominated alongside Karim Ndugwa of Bul FC, who scored two goals and made two assists against UPDF and Tooro and finally Arua Hill’s Rashid Kawawa who scored three goals and had an incredible run against Wakiso giants making him man of the match.

Meanwhile Vipers’ Sports Club coach Olivera Roberto who couldn’t make it to the occasion due to unforeseen circumstances won the Pilsner coach of the month, taking home a sum of Ugandan shillings one million and an accolade. Despite the fact that they played three matches out of five, he scooped nine points within three matches.

Other nominees included URA’s Sam Timbe who accumulated nine points with two wins , three draws within five games and Livingston Mbabazi of Arua hill who had two wins , three draws from five matches and accumulated nine points.

Trevor mark Lutwama was awarded as the Fan of the month winning a sum of Ugandan shillings 500,000 having the best and right predictions of the month through the pilsner twitter handle.
