Faridah Nakazibwe is out here making her mum proud. Her mum is celebrating her 60th birthday and yes, Faridah Nakazibwe knows exactly how to make her feel special, appreciated and loved.
In many parts of the world, an individual’s birthday is celebrated by a party where a specially made cake, usually decorated with lettering and the person’s age, is presented.
The cake is traditionally studded with the same number of lit candles as the age of the individual, or a number candle representing their age. Faridah has done all that for her beautiful mother, but gifting her a brand new ride caught her off guard!
In the video trending on the internet, the bummy and sassy media personality clad in a black attire is seen guiding her mum from the house, to the parking lot where the car, worth millions of cash, is parked. The mum, who is donning a yellow Gomesi is then reduced to tears of joy after being told that the car belongs to her. Faridah, who plies her trade as a Luganda News anchor on NTV, hires a trumpetist to make the moment memorable.

Faridah Nakazibwe builds mum house
Earlier this year, Faridah Nakazibwe completed her mother’s house in Kibengo village, Ssembabule district.
In a rather celebratory mood, Nakazibwe shared a video of the house on her YouTube channel, with over 40,000 subscribers.
She noted that her mum, who had been living in Masaka, informed her about her desires to go back and stay in the village where her late hubby was laid to rest.
The 37-year-old Luganda News anchor’s dad passed on when she was still in O’level.
Nakazibwe stressed that she couldn’t stand in her mother’s way but, rather, used the little she earns to build her a house.
