Diamond Platnumz has no regrets dumping ex-girlfriend, Zari Hassan. From the look of things, he actually seems to be happier that they’re only peacefully co-parenting – something he had been chasing for long.

Speaking during a recent interview with BBC Swahili, the multi-award winning sensation opened the lid about his flopped relationship with classy socialite, Zari Hassan, asserting that despite having loved her, he knew that he was just eating her beans on credit and wasting her time. The singing sensation said he wouldn’t settle down with Zari, with whom he shares two kids; Latifah Dangote and Prince Nilan.

According to Diamond, it was just an open secret that he and Zari would part ways since he still had world dreams to chase and a career to polish. Being an artiste who loves to be surrounded with all tribes of smoking hot granddaughters of Adam, the 32-year-old Wasafi Records honcho, says he was bound to disappoint Zari, who wanted nothing but true love.

“I respected Zari and I still love her. Due to the respect, I didn’t want to hurt her feelings by committing myself to the relationship when I already knew that it wasn’t going to work. You might judge me when I say that I was just wasting her time but that was the case,” Diamond fussed.

He further added that despite the love, steamy romps and sweet memories they both shared during the four years they spent together, he knew that his blood was still hot and being a young man, he wouldn’t commit to any woman until he is truly ready for marriage.

“I even told her my problem of having many ladies. I told her my blood was still hot hence the relationship was bound to end,” the star singer continued.

Well, having parted ways 3 years now – Diamond Platnumz still has no signs of finding himself a wife, but – rumour has it that Zuchu might just be the girl he’s smashing.

Zari confronts Diamond over infidelities live on set

During their reality show, Young, Famous and African, which premiered on Netflix in March this year, Zari took time off and confronted ex-boyfriend, Diamond, over his infidelities during their 4-year relationship. In a side chat with the father of her two kids, Zari vented out her frustrations of having to defend Diamond’s cheating allegations.
