Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz ‘s YouTube account has reportedly been terminated. YouTube is said to have terminated the account for violating community guidelines.
Diamond’s account had over 6 million subscribers, placing him at the top on the list of the musicians with most YouTube subscribers in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Reports indicate that his YouTube account was hacked about two days ago. The hackers allegedly went live on the platform with cryptocurrency news.

Diamond has reportedly deleted the link to his YouTube channel from his social media following the ordeal. Currently, his channel link on YouTube shows that it has been terminated for violating community guidelines. It remains to be seen if whether it will be retrieved.
The multi-award winning superstar has the most followed artist the streaming platform in the East African region, with over 6.5 million subscribers and 742 videos.
He is followed by Rayvanny with over 3.5 million subscribers. In Uganda only Kenzo comes close to him in terms of numbers, with 1.98M subscribers.
