Nubian Li finally responds to claims of Bobi Wine denying his ‘best friend’ Chameleon a NUP Card

Fire base crew member Bukenya Ali popularly known as Nubian Li has finally responded to the 5 minute video rant singer Jose Chameleone put up at the commander of the land forces General Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s birthday after a purported section of NUP supporters attacked him for honoring an invitation to sing at the tweeting General’s much hyped birthday ceremony.

It should be remembered while entertaining guests at the Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s pre-birthday bash at Lugogo Cricket Oval, over the weekend, music legend, Jose Chameleone, real names, Joseph Mayanja, spent over five minutes venting at National Unity Platform (NUP) disciples, who had threatened to teach him a lesson on social media for dining with the people they deem enemies.

As a way of responding to these threats chameleone poured out his heart saying no one has a right to dictate how he goes about his life or music career.

To dissect the matter even further Chameleone assured NUP supporters how every one including their leader failed support him on his heated Kampala Mayoral bid.

“I’m here to sing because of my friend Toyota. You all remember he gave me a Range Rover. Some of you were not happy. But I don’t care. I am here to sing because of Muhoozi. Tonyumiza Kamwokya Tumbavu! I make my choices. Some of you want to make decisions for me. I won’t accept that,” he bitterly said.

“Why mix politics with music all time. I no longer care about what you say because I won’t contest again. That chapter ended. I stood and you refused to support me but I never took it in bad faith,” he added.

Now perhaps after hearing Chameleone’s video, Bobi Wine close friend Ali Bukenya a.k.a Nubian Li has come to say Chameleon was never denied a NUP card as some people want it to be seen but rather an election was held and he was apparently beaten hands down.

”There is no bad blood between NUP and Chameleone. I know Chameleone knows there was aprocess in which those cards were given out. He went into that process and unfortunately the results never favored him. If there is a problem he witnesssed during the process, we shall all reach out to him and get his side of the story” Nubian Li said while responding to Chameleone’s video
