Diana Nabatanzi recently put NBS TV and Sanyuka TV Lugambo mercenaries, Zahara Toto and Kayz Kawalya on the spot, for taunting and tarnishing her brand while on set.
This was after Zahara Toto and Kayz called her an old hen, who clings onto B2C’s vocalist, Mr. Lee’s ‘waya’. The pair further trashed the rumour that Mr. Lee and Nabantazi were a step closer to sealing their purported love story, with a secret Kukyala, slated for April 25, 2022.
Skinned, hit below the belt and subsequently angered by the banter, Nabantanzi expressed her dissatisfaction during her Kili Kitya show, and called upon the Naguru-based TV station bosses to intervene, if they don’t have anything to do with the ‘unprofessional’ employees.
“..it’s too bad that we have turned the media into a platform where presenters can fight their own wars. It hurts that most presenters are unprofessionally insulting and attacking another colleague from a different media house, as if the TV channel belongs to his or her grandparent. How can a big TV station stoop that low and start fighting one person? I sometimes ask myself whether it is a directive from their bosses. Do they have any problem with me or the presenters? What did I do to you? Please say it out loud so that the whole nation can know what’s up,” Nabatanzi cried out, asking the partners in crime to apologize.
But it looks like neither Zahara Toto nor Kayz are ready to retract their comments or eat humble pie and apologize to Nabatanzi.
For example, Zahara Toto is going about her business, like nothing really happened.
She took to her social media to post, “Bada$$ Gang. Never challenged and never equaled. #kaiz #djzato #uncut,” Zahara Totto posted.
In the past, Muzzinyi Precious Remmie, who plies her trade at Spark TV also vowed to sue Zahara and Kayz for making her a meal to mock and demean.
Will she finally apologize? Fingers crossed!
