It seems Bobi Wine has never felt at ease to speak to Eddy Kenzo again, ever since the latter called him out for being mean and a hypocrite.
About two years ago, Kenzo found himself in a tight situation after his trusted pal leaked their recorded phone conversation onto the internet, in which the Big Talent Boss vented his anger and frustration towards Bobi Wine.
In the recorded phone call, the irate Kenzo blasted Bobi Wine for blue-ticking his messages whenever he texted him, and alleged that the National Unity Platform (NUP) top honcho uses his position to step on other musicians’ toes by ordering his disciples to bully, insult them on social media and thwart their plans, so that he remains the only bull in the Kraal.
Kenzo went on to predict that Bobi would never become president and that if the popstar cum politician ever topples Sevo, he (Kenzo) would leave the country for good.
His rant must have left a bitter taste in NUP messiah’s mouth as he retaliated by completely cutting off ties and communication between them. Actually, it might be safe to say that Kenzo’s name has been in Bobi’s bad book, since then.
In his latest interview with Urban TV, the multi-award winning star confirmed that he and Bobi don’t talk anymore.
“…I don’t speak to Bobi Wine. We no longer communicate and surely I cannot give you a clear picture of my relationship with him,” Kenzo noted, before revealing that unlike his rusty relationship with Bobi, he is friends with Chameleone and Bebe Cool.
“…I roll pretty well with Bebe Cool and with Chameleone, we talk everyday,” he said. Kenzo, whose decorated music career spans over a decade, further revealed that if Bobi Wine paid him to sing at any of his concerts, he would take the opportunity up.
“I am a musician and if Bobi pays me to perform at his concerts, why not show up?” He fussed and sided with Chameleone, who has been attacked recently by opposition supporters on social media for performing at Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s birthday party.
