In what appears to be one of her very first interviews in a period spanning five or even six years, Lilian Mbabazi has in a lengthy interview with Galaxy FM Friday morning, talked love, life and music.

The former Blu*3 girl and mother of the late singer and songwriter Mowzey Radio’s children, says she has been away but with her ears to the ground.

“As much as I have been away, I kept my ears to the ground,” Lilian tells Galaxy FM.

According to Lilian, her mourning period coupled with prayer passed and that all she is focused on now is continuing her music career.

It is then that she officially dropped ‘The One’, one of the six songs in her EP which she says will be released this October.

Produced by Michael Fingers and penned by Sheenah Skys, Lilian talks of a mystery man, who does not let her sleep (always in her mind).

When pressed, Lilian revealed that she is currently not seeing anyone nor is she dating.

However, she revealed that once a potential suitor shows up, she will be open to giving a relationship a chance.

According to Lilian, her ideal man must possess three qualities – God-loving or fearing, hold conversations and love children.

About music, Lilian says she is ready to match the current pace.

“I am not scared. I’m my own artiste. The question should be, are they ready for me?” Lilian responded to the question of the kind of songs, production and all, trending currently.

Lilian holds Apass in high regard. According to her, she would still do another song with the man from Tooro.

Outside Apass, Lilian says “I like Fic (Fic Fameica).”

“I love Sheebah,” she added, “how she has grown musically, her performances are fire.”

“And, oh, how could I forget. Fire Baby (Winnie Nwagi).”

While Lilian did not mention anything to do with Blu*3, she is still friends with Jackie and Cindy.

“Jackie is my bade. Cindy, I met her like 4 times in the last month,” says Lilian.

The ‘Vitamin’ singer is currently signed to T’Roy Studios.
