Nyege Nyege by Bebe Cool
As a section of established artists are irritated by the influx of Nigerian music in the country, on the other hand, 2022 has been one of the best years for the Ugandan entertainment industry in a long time.
Our artists, especially the females, have broken boundaries, signed better deals, and set their sights higher than ever before. It’s been beautiful to see female artists such as Azawi, Cindy and Winnie Nwagi hold groundbreaking concerts in stadiums, where only the likes of Chameleone would fill up.
We have also witnessed an improvement in the quality of production, music videos and more ambitious international collaborations. Artists such as Fik Fameica, who also recently held a sold out concert at Hotel Africana, Zuli Tumz and Sheebah have raised the bar.
Another artist, who’s really solidifying his position, is none other than Big Size Bebe Cool. The controversial veteran artist must have gone back to the drawing board and sketched how he could redeem his music career, which had drastically taken a nose-dive. His involvement in politics had affected his Showbiz but the dry spell without any hit song for the past two years might have awakened the beast in him.
This year alone, Bebe Cool has dropped two massive Jams, TikTok and Boss Lady, with world class videos. Speaking of Boss Lady, the song has Afro-dancehall beats that will linger in the minds of the youth leaving disc jockeys with no choice but to play the massive tune.

The 45-year-old music star has also released another jam titled, Nyege Nyege, presumably to tactically ride on the famous Nyege Nyege Festival, which is happening this weekend in Jinja.
“Nyege Nyege, Amapiano Party song that only calls for energy within the crowd. We only live once and you must make your life meaningful,” Bebe notes.
The song was produced by Ronnie of Gagamel Records, it is a high tempo track that evokes your urge to dance and have fun.
