Shine Nyonyozi Angella alias Shine Mukiga is a famous singer, a media personality in western Uganda, and a sister of comedienne Anne Kansiime.
Shine Omukiga recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl but she has come out to tell of the untold suffering she went through in the pursuit of a child.
In a TV interview, Shine Omukiga said she suffered so many miscarriages that she stopped counting them. “The ones that I counted were 19. For the rest, I could just see blood spots oozing out. Since I had had many, doctors even gave up on me,” Shine said.
Shine also recalls an incident when she almost suffered a miscarriage while performing on stage. “One time, I was on stage dancing, and I felt like the baby was leaving my womb,” Shine said.
After all those miscarriages, Shine finally gave birth to a baby boy in 2022. “I quit my job after delivery. I am now focused on motherhood and that’s my full-time job,” Shine added.
