Bizonto’s Anabelle dismisses hubby’s cheating allegations
A few days ago, rumours hit the roof, suggesting that renowned comedy group,’Bizonto‘ was on the verge of splitting. The split was linked to mixing business and pleasure between the group leader, Giant Zonto and colleague, Annabelle Kisakye, who happens to be married.
Reports suggested that Giant Zonto has a habit of tickling Annabelle’s ‘Luwombo of beans’ whenever he gets a chance to, after recording their comedy skits, something that has left their respective families destabilised.
Actually, Annabelle Kisakye’s partner in passion, Robert Kisakye, is said to have sneaked and perused through her phone and his eyes landed on the sweet WhatsApp messages both his wife and giant Zonto send each other. Heartbroken and frustrated, the hubby apparently gave Annabelle two options; to stop playing ‘Kamese tambula’ with the culprit or immediately quit the group but she refused to back down, reasoning she and Giant Zonto are just friends.

In her latest interview with a local TV station, Kisakye vows not to quit her job because it enables her to make ends meet. She confirms that her hubby doesn’t want her to continue working with Bizonto Comedy group. In a rather relaxed mood, she says she cannot even think of dumping her job because she loves and treasures it beyond words can ever explain.
“Yes, my hubby is lamenting and indeed uneasy but those are family issues which will be sorted amicably. The truth is, he doesn’t want me to work but I still love and value my job. I have to work, only that my bosses might kick me out,” she said.
“I tried to seat him down and we had a deep conversation about the same issue but it seems he thought coming out publicly was the ultimate solution. I talk to Giant Zonto just like any other person. He is my colleague who I cannot avoid,” she added, advising her man to relax since there is nothing to worry about.
In 2020, the group members; Julius Sserwanja also known as Kidomoole, Mbabaali Maliseeri (Uncle Luyuguumo), Peter Sssaabakaaki (Giant Zonto) and Gold Ki Matono, were arrested for mockingly praying for Uganda’s top leaders. In the skit, which started with a religious tune – albeit with different words – the group members listed all persons holding key positions in Electoral Commission, Uganda Revenue Authority, Uganda Prisons, Uganda National Roads Authority, National Social Security Fund, Bank of Uganda, Ministry of Finance, Internal Security Organisation – headed by individuals who all hail from western Uganda.
They, for instance, pointed out that although the known Inspector General of Police (IGP) is Martin Okoth Ochola, the actual police boss is his deputy Sabiiti Muzeeyi, who also hails from the west.
