Legendary Afrigo Band lead singer and instrumentalist, Moses Matovu, left Member of Parliament for Kalungu County West, Hon. Joseph Ssewungu, frozen on the stage after he appeared to want to direct his performance over the weekend.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, Ssewungu stepped on the stage and appeared to request songs for Matovu to sing.
Ssewungu’s request which came with a tip must have left a bitter taste in Moses Matovu’s mouth as he instead ranted and shamed the National Unity Platform legislature.

In his rant which lasted for about two minutes, the 73-year-old experienced entertainer faulted Ssewungu and colleagues for ‘politising everything’ and went on to label the August House ‘fake’.
“Your parliament is fake. Nothing is decided during the plenary,” Matovu raged.
“We are fed up with you people wanting to politicise everything. It must stop. Some of us are tired,” he said.
He requested freedom to pursue his interests because he wasn’t prepared to follow instructions.
