Vivian Tendo: While it appears hard to admit listening to craft of other artistes trading on the same space, it came off easy from the thick lips of singer, Vivian Tendo.
Tendo was appearing on UBC Horizon Vibe Saturday morning when she revealed that actually, she listens to other songs/artistes, apart from hers.
According to Tendo, her top three songs are Spice Diana’s Siri Regular, Chameleon’s Forever and Carol Nantongo’s Oliwa.
While Spice Diana has been consistent with her craft the past two or three years, she has as well felt the threats from Pallaso. In fact, Pallaso is the reigning artiste of the year (male)
Others who have been on the chart include Eddy Kenzo, Azawi, Mudra, Liam Voice, Sheebah and Zex Bilangilangi.
But like it is not a must that she has to listen to all tribes of music, Tendo chooses Spice, Chameleon and Nantongo.
Recently, rapper Gravity Omutujju ranked a list of current top artistes. His list excluded legendary voices in Chameleon, Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine. His argument was that it is not their time anymore. It did not go down well with fans in the other camps.
