Aida Vee releases new soulful love song – Mwai

Great things really need to be appreciated at all costs so is music. When it’s a good song it always claps because yes it deserves it.

The song, Mwai by Aida Vee, is top notch and melodious.

It fits one of those neutral niches that artistes tend to like – heck, R. Kelly did songs like this, and still went and did what he did, and we can still listen to his craft without feeling guilty. This may or may not be the reason that artistes record love songs, but damn, I am always delighted when they do. It’s like a combination of music and the human soul.

Mwai was intricately produced – the focus to detail is not only on the instrumentation, which is beautifully non-intrusive, but on the harmonies, which are perfected wonderfully. Then, of course, there’s Aida Vee’s singing – she related to this song on several levels. It is no wonder that the song can give you goosebumps – the emotion that carries it is sincere.
