While it is yet a secret of which gender singer Karole Kasita is going to push to the World, she made an insinuation days ago: Male child name suggestions.
It was like Kasita opened a can of worms.
Names of celebrities: footballers and musicians, however dominated the list.
Top of these were Ian; Aiden, Lucas, Nolan, Xander, Adrian, Caleb, Keith, Keron and Marcus.
Others were: Canon, Calvin and Roman.
Prominent of these names, however, was Breel Donald Embollo. Embolo is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Ligue 1 club Monaco and the Switzerland national team. Born in Cameroon, Embolo moved with his family to France before finally settling in Switzerland.
This name, Embolo, has a local meaning in Luganda.
While Kasita responded to a number of suggestions, she remains/ed tight-lipped on the Embolo suggestion.
It is not clear yet, when Kasita will put to bed (or if she already did).
If she did or when she finally do, Kasita will join a list of female artistes to embrace motherhood. In the recent past, the Ugandan music/entertainment industry has seen Juliana Kanyomozi, Vinka and Anne Kansime among others join get heavy, look after the pregnancy and normally put to bed.
