Eddy Kenzo has finally disclosed that his bloody beef with Big Size Bebe Cool wasn’t musical but largely over baby mama and songstress Rema Namakula’s beans and career.
Kenzo, who is currently the most decorated musician in the country, with a Grammy nomination tagged onto his name, made the revelation while thrilling revellers at Bebe Cool’s Tondeka E’Kiwatule Boxing Day concert.
Without mincing words, the Big Talent boss explained that he came to realize that Bebe Cool is actually a very good person after making peace with him.
According to him, Bebe is most times misunderstood because he speaks so much truth and because it is bitter, his opinions get received with a lot of hate.
“Baganda bange, me and Bebe had misunderstandings before as you may recall. Our beef wasn’t musical at all. It wasn’t violent. It was because of Rema, who happened to be my friend. We had a disagreement but we managed to bury the hatchet,” Kenzo explained.
“I have come to learn that Bebe is actually one of the truest and nicest persons to deal with. I have discovered that is a great person and I am proud of our relationship. He is an honest person unlike others I have worked with, those who love to be worshipped. I love working with real people, he is real,” he added.
Kenzo also revealed that during his recent woes with the promoter of Luba Events, Bebe Cool was always on the phone with him ( Kenzo) assuring that all his woes would come to pass.
In November 2022, Bebe Cool declared that his beef with Eddy Kenzo was over. He was very pivotal in drumming support for the festival, which garnered a record turn up.
It should be remembered that Kenzo lured Rema from Bebe Cool’s camp, something which left a bitter taste in the Gagamel boss’ mouth.
Apparently, Bebe had plans to fine-tune Rema into a force to reckon with, musically, on the continent but the move flopped after Kenzo started munching Mama Aamaal’s beans.
