Police investigates death of Mak law student whose decomposing body was discovered in rental
Police in Kampala are investigating circumstances under which a decomposing body of a 23 yr old law student of Makerere University student was discovered dead in his rental.
The deceased has been identified as Rukundo Adam, a third year student and resident of Bruno Zone, Lukuli Ward in Makindye Division.
ASP Luke Owoyesigyire says they discovered his lifeless body in a his room after neighbors complained of a foul stench coming from his apartment. He says police officers visited and cordoned off the scene before breaking down the door to the room.

He further explains that the deceased was found lying on the bed dressed in trousers and jersey and found lying to the ground. He says the cause of death is yet to be established although the deceased had no marks on his body.
“There are no signs but we shall wait for a postmortem to show if he was inflicted with acts of violence , we shouldn’t conclude anything not even suicide. We await reports from experts to guide the next step of investigation.”
The body has been conveyed to Mulago City Mortuary.
