Mukula decries corruption in aviation space

The proprietor of Aviation Training Academy, Capt. Mike Mukula, has appealed to the government to help in the fight corruption in the aviation industry.

Mukula says corruption is preventing many students from getting jobs after completing their training in various aviation studies.

He was Thursday speaking to aviation students after the field training conducted at Entebbe international airport.

The aviation sector is one of the growing sectors after the government started allowing private institutions to start training students in aviation.

Mukula, one of the founders of the aviation institutes, expresses concern over the corruption that says is still rampant in the industry.

He says many of the students graduate from their institute but fail to find jobs due to lack of information from those who should help them join the world’s leading airlines.

However, Mukula and the students of the Uganda Aviation Academy thanked the Civil Aviation Authority for helping them to learn more about aviation during the training.

They urged the govt to provide them with more assistance especially by establishing good relations with other countries so that they can get jobs.
