King Saha: I demand UPRS 3 sacks of money stuffed with only Shs 50 K notes
For some time now, there have been concerns about the amount of money UPRS returns to artists.
A number of artists have received some money which they claim is an insult. Some have received Shs 200, 000 on mobile money.
However, according to King Saha, he demands UPRS too much money.
“They could give me 500, 000. However, I demand UPRS 3 sacks of money. There is nothing like sending me a mobile money,” King Saha told Kasuku recently. He adds that “We will sit with them and audit.”
“Let them give us the money and we see what to give the government as revenue. You can’t give me 200K. Those guys are going to give me 500K. I demand them (UPRS) 3 sacks of money. In those sacks, it’s in 50K notes only,” he said.
