Cindy finally speaks out on Kenzo Federation

The President of Uganda Musicians’ Association (UMA), Cindy Sanyu has for the first time in a long time spoken out on the Musician Federation headed by Eddy Kenzo.

While appearing on the Zzina Big Bang on Galaxy FM last Friday, Cindy acknowledged that she was invited for the first meeting sitting in Mutundwe, Rubaga Division.

“I attended one meeting,” Cindy confirmed. Asked why he did not return to subsequent meetings, the Boom Party singer said she needs to understand what the Federation is about.

“We want to now what the Federation is about. I have not seen the Constitution. I can’t join what I don’t know. But once I understand, I will join.”

For months now, Kenzo’s Federation has been in the lips of many industry players and supporters, with others linking it to the yellow corner.

Artistes who side with the red corner have since stayed away from the Federation.

Kenzo, however, insists that the Federation means well for the industry.

Cindy, on the other hand says that coming together under one umbrella to pursue a common goal is the deal.
