Ugandan raising artist Vere Paul makes his comeback with a new single “Vumilia”.

“Vumilia” a Swahili word translated to English as persevere; trying to do or continue doing something in a determined way, despite difficulties.

“This is a message to recognize every hustler out there. Personally, I prefer singing because of my experience. The hard and painful life I went through while growing up. The tough and hard times I went through,” Vere Paul said ahead of the release.

The Afropop and R&B single flaunts Vere Paul’s flawless lyricism and laced with undertones of Afro-Dancehall sound, all done by renowned music producer Nessim Pan Production.

The song’s music video directed by Frank Wallet sees Vere Paul bring out his element as a famous businessman, with an urge of championing positivity and hard work in the community.

Vere Paul’s debut songs; Nikumbuke, Olutalo Luno, and All To You, partly created an introduction into the industry, followed by his 2022 single “Hullo Mama” that paved his way to the latest magic in “Vumilia”.

Being on the forefront of the new generation of Afropop artists, Vere Paul’s journey is on an upward trajectory with the evident steady rise of his career.

He is also focused on being an all-round artist. He has founded a creative team named “Vere Paul Music” involved in impacting many lives through music and other works.

Who is Vere Paul?

Vere Paul is a Ugandan singer and songwriter majoring in Gospel and Inspirational music.

Vere Paul was born in Maddu – Gomba district to Mr. Katabandama Paul Kayomby and Ms. Nambiito Teddy Kazoola.

Vere Paul’s childhood and education:

He is the last born of his dad and the third son of my mum.

He went to Maddu C/S (St Charles Lwanga Maddu) Primary school and City Campus High School and Ayenje S.S Gombe Butambala Makindye for his secondary school education.

Vere was later admitted at Fisheries Training Institute Entebbe for his higher schooling.
