Buchaman Seconds Alien Skin For Not Allowing To Worship NUP’s small god Bobi Wine
Former Firebase Vice president Buchaman has commended singer Alien Skin for his principled stance against NUP (National Unity Platform) supporters.
Alien Skin recently made headlines for his outspoken criticism of NUP, which included a video where he praised President Museveni. This move sparked controversy among People Power supporters who had previously embraced him as part of their movement.
As the backlash grew, with fans feeling betrayed and angry, Alien Skin addressed his critics. He challenged those accusing him of betrayal to specify what promises he had made. He also questioned when he had declared his affiliation with Firebase, pointing out that Fangon Forest is not an extension of NUP. He emphasized that he should be allowed his independence.
As critics began predicting the decline of his career, Buchaman stepped up to support him. The singer of “Temumatira” defended Alien Skin’s actions, calling them “astute.”
According to Buchaman, Alien’s decision to remain impartial and not align himself with either NUP or NRM (National Resistance Movement) was wise. He noted that Alien Skin has a fan base in both political parties, and he shouldn’t allow himself to be controlled by any group. Buchaman emphasized that Alien Skin’s success should be determined solely by his talent and not by political affiliations.
“What Alien did was very clever; he shouldn’t be under anyone’s authority. He shouldn’t be controlled or held hostage by any group. He has fans both in the NRM and NUP. And if he feels he’s also a significant figure, then he is,” Buchaman remarked.
