Driver, two dead in Jagur bus accident

Three people have been confirmed dead following an accident that happend early this morning at Kajumiro Maddu-Ssembabule Rd Gomba District.

The accident involved a Jaguar bus Reg.No UBF 736G Isuzu that was Traveling From Rwanda to Uganda Via Mirama.

It’s alleged that the said M/V while at Kajumiro Maddu-Ssembabule lost control and overturned killing 03 people including the Driver, David Asiimwe, and Injuring 08 others who were passangers traveling in the same bus.

The victims have been rushed to Maddu Health centre III for treatment, Traffic Spokesman, SP Michael Kananura said in a statement.

“Bodies taken to Gomba Hospital for postmortem. M/V towed to Kanoni Police station for inspection,” SP Kananura said.

According to SP Kananura, the cause of the accident not yet known as inquires commence to establish the likely cause of “this accident.”
