Grenade Official will live to tell his grandkids what happened to him on Friday, moments after his stellar performance at Fik Fameica’s concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

In rather a dramatic incident, Grenade, following an electric performance, found himself arrested by ruthless plain-clothed Afandes, who grabbed him by the collar and dragged him at Usain Bolt speed, out of the venue before squeezing him into the waiting drone which whisked him away!

“Banange munyambe bantwala, afande which crime have I committed? Silina musango gwe nkoze,” he lamented but no one could attempt to block the arrest.

According to gossip star, Florah Show, the singer spent the cold night behind the bars at Jinja Police station, with UNMF prez, Eddy Kenzo, sweating to secure his freedom but all in vain.

Grenade’s sudden arrest has left fans with speculation swirling about the reasons behind the incident.

While the exact cause of his arrest remains unclear, rumors suggest it could be linked to a previous altercation involving Sheilah Gashumba’s partner, Rickman, at La Terazza bar in Kisementi. 

Sheilah Gashumba had vowed that she would comb for Grenade and have him arrested and since then the ‘Afazali Nkuloga’ singer has been elusive.

Last year, the two artists were involved in a heated confrontation that resulted in Rickman sustaining multiple injuries. This incident had caused Grenade to retreat from the public eye, reducing his public appearances significantly.
