Beenie Gunter is back in the country following his detention for weeks in the United Arab Emirates but he has a bone to pick with UNMF gaffer and pal, Eddy Kenzo.
Earlier this year, Gunter was arrested after an altercation with promoters. He made a late appearance at the show, and party-goers damaged and destroyed property worth millions. Perhaps, being Kenzo’s pal, Gunter thought that the Big Talent boss would lose sleep over his detention and do something.
Well, according to Beenie Gunter’s latest interview with Galaxy TV, Kenzo did little to quicken his release. In fact, he says Kenzo only gave him peanuts (UGX 500K), glorifying Bobi Wine, who is said to have dug deep in the pocket and set him UGX 1M.
“I felt betrayed by Kenzo and the Federation because they did not care after my arrest. They did nothing, yet Kenzo has many connections in the government. He could have championed the call for my release if he truly cared. He only gave me 500k. I thank Bobi Wine for giving me 1M to attain my freedom,” Benie Gunter revealed.
Now, one of Kenzo’s trusted men, a one Faisal has clapped back at Beenie Gunter, labeling him ungrateful for exposing the UNMF boss.
