Swangz Avenue stars are in Zanzibar for a week-long creative retreat ahead of Swangz All Star Album but guess what? Latest info we have gathered suggests that the music label’s top bosses; Julius Kyazze and Benon Mugumbya decided to impose a timely s3x ban on the artists! Yes, you read it right.
Apparently, for the smooth running of the retreat, which is aimed at freshening up, skilling and re-igniting the creating spark of their artists, Julius Kyazze and Benon Mugumbya asked the label’s top prize stars who include, Winnie Nwagi, Vinka, Zafaran, Elijah Kitaka, Azawi among others to leave their bonkmates back home as they jetted out on Thursday, which they all obliged to!
Jetting the Uganda Airlines, Swangz creatives including artists, producers, and writers, safely landed in Zanzibar.
“There are about sixteen people here. No one else is allowed to sniff around. The retreat is for only Swangz Avenue employees. Not even our boyfriends and girlfriends are allowed to come with us,” one of our inside sources told us as we tried to dig deep and ask how the team is surviving in the chilly conditions of Zanzibar beach hotel where they are camped.
Based on the video shared by the label’s social media platforms, the creatives started with a workout session at one of the beaches in Zanzibar led by Winnie Nwagi.
Earlier this month Swangz Avenue music label announced the launch of the Swangz All-Star Album, an unprecedented collaborative project bringing together some of Uganda’s most celebrated artists.
The announcement was accompanied by a captivating video showcasing our talented lineup, including Vinka, Azawi, Winnie Nwagi, Elijah Kitaka, Zafarani, and Joy Good.
