Zex Bilangilangi has opened up on why he believes he is the luckiest to drink from Bobi Wine’s cup of wisdom.

Having been mentored by the National Unity Platform Strongman Bobi Wine, in his music camp, Firebase, when he was still a diamond in the rough, Zex claims he is more than grateful!

He acknowledges the fact that he grew up following Bobi’s footsteps and one of his best moments and life-changing opportunities was when the former presidential candidate and MP welcomed him with open hands to join Firebase.

In an interview with Galaxy TV’s Rewind team, Zex, who rose to fame in 2019…and now an established artist waxed lyrical on Bobi Wine, giving him his flowers.

“I am one of the luckiest artists to be mentored by Bobi Wine. He believes in me and is always showing me the way forward and I am so grateful for everything,” he said.

The singer who boasts an album with over 40 songs revealed that when Bobi Wine had him sing, he allowed him into Firebase studios to record for free.

Zex Bilangilangi said growing up in the ghettos, he barely found food or something to drink. Even going to school was a tug of war as his mother worked all the time to provide for him.
