In late 2023, singer Ykee Benda was unveiled as one of the directors of Golden High School Nsagu.

He has since been working effortlessly to make the school even better.

Two months ago, the singer together with other directors unveiled a new dormitory block that was named after Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Anitah Annet Among.

The latest update indicates that Ykee Benda has managed to secure bursaries and other goodies to help the students from Monaco Coatings and Unilever.

Among the things received are, Monaco Coatings will paint the entire school again, give 10 bursaries to the best students, buy sports attires for both girls and boys teams on top of buying MDD equipment for the music school. On the other hand, Unilever delivered 500 bags to students and 150 powder cases.

The school which is running on an integrated creative and performing arts curriculum and is already offering 500 bursaries to underprivileged students within the Kajjansi community.

The director, Ykee Benda graduated with a first-class degree in Chemical Engineering from Algeria in 2015.
