Shakib Cham can’t put up with the fact that he taunted and shamed bae, Zari Hassan, following a heated social media spat and yes, he is regrettably sorry.

According to Shakib, that private convo in which he literally punched holes in Zari was recorded without his knowledge and leaked by a close friend. This all unfolded after Zari publicly blasted him for questioning her about hosting Tanzanian superstar and father of her kids, Diamond Platnumz, during his visit to South Africa.

In an interview with Galaxy TV’s Rewind entertainment crew, Shakib explained: “I didn’t leak the audio. A friend called me just after Zari’s live video had gone viral, and I was still upset. I was really affected by what I saw… I don’t have many friends who check on me, and when they called, I said a lot out of anger. It wasn’t meant to be like that. I didn’t know I was being recorded. As angry as I was, there are things I wouldn’t discuss.”

Zari has also apologised to Shakib, admitting that her social media outburst stemmed from frustration. She clarified that her recent trip to Kampala was meant to reconcile with her husband, acknowledging that venting online was a mistake.

Zari admitted she let her emotions get the better of her and used “the wrong platform” to express her feelings.

Back in August, Zari had taken to social media to remind her husband, Shakib Lutaaya, of his relatively minor role in her life, urging him to be cautious in their relationship.

Her frustration was sparked when Shakib expressed displeasure over her hosting Diamond Platnumz, the father of her child. Diamond had travelled to South Africa to attend the birthday celebration of Tifah, the daughter he shares with Zari.
