Singer and songwriter Laika Music has announced that she is now back and fully working with her old management after failing to get someone new to run her music career.

The ‘Ontabula’ hitmaker is one of the few new artists who have had challenges settling with the same management for a reasonable amount of time.

With this, she has not been seen on stage so much despite having a number of hit songs that are loved by the music fans.

After a long struggle to find the right partner to work with and promote her music, Laika decided to return to her old management Ray Pan Promotions to help handle her brand.

This year I’ve had a little bit of management issues but I’m back to fully working with my initial management. Sometimes you cannot handle everything as an artist, Laika revealed.

Laika recently released her new EP ‘It Was All A Dream’ and now that she is under stable management, she promised her fans that they will be seeing more of her on a number of stages. However, she is working hand in hand with her manager as she strategizes to find her niche.

But now I’m back to performing and I have many shows that are coming up. You have to be very strategic with this thing, otherwise you might become like a fly that is seen everywhere.

You have to strategize and know your target market. That is why my management and my brand have done a whole new strategy. Very soon you’re going to see me performing but not everywhere,” Laika noted.
In April last year, Laika Music signed with Ray Pan Promotions, one of the fast-rising music managers in town, releasing a number of songs like Love Song among others but later separated.

I left because we are different people; he had his own path and I had my own. We had different misunderstandings and it is okay. We still talk though, he is my friend and I wish him the best, she revealed in an interview.
