Born and raised in Mbale, Uganda, Wanzi’s creative journey began with a passion for filmmaking and photography, leading him to pursue studies in Kenya. Which he graduated successfully, However, his true calling lay in music.
Breaking into the Music Scene
Wanzi’s debut single, “Romantic Boy” (2020), marked his entry into the music industry. The song’s captivating visuals, shot in Los Angeles, California alongside model Miar Mulroney (@thatgirlmair), garnered significant attention.
Subsequent Releases and Collaborations
Follow up singles, “Bendela” (produced by Bomba Made My Beat) and collaborations with renowned Kenyan producer Kingpheezle, yielded hits like “Jaba-Limpueza” and “Fatima.” The latter, featuring Trio Mio, Kenyans favorite top young talent,
The song went on to dominate Kenyans radio stations and the video couldn’t not stop airing on the televisions throughout kenya.
International Recognition
Wanzi’s performances on prominent stages, including the UNNA festival in Dallas, Texas, USA, solidified his growing reputation. And opened great opportunities that led to various performances throughout the United States in every community.

Introducing THE HYBRID EP
After gaining momentum, Wanzi unveils his debut EP, THE HYBRID, boasting 7 diverse tracks. This milestone marks a significant step in his musical journey.
When asked about any collaborations with artist within Uganda he was hesitant to give a comment but he said.
“Well I have a song that has been in works with An-known Prosper, which I think should be out as soon as we have a fixed date, i do however have a song that will be coming out soon with JDM Official that will be outside my HYBRID EP”
