Budaka District is reeling from shock and sorrow following the untimely death of Deputy Resident District Commissioner (DRDC), Hajjat Nusula Nabukalu, in a devastating road accident.
The tragic incident occurred on the evening of December 29th at Musita, leaving locals mourning the loss of a dedicated public servant.
The heartbreaking news was confirmed by the Minister for the Presidency, Hon. Babirye Milly Babalanda, who took to her official X account to share her grief.
“I announce the heartbreaking news of the death of the Deputy RDC Budaka, Hajjati Nabukalu Nusura, who has died in an accident this evening at Musita. So painful a loss at this time,” Hon. Babalanda wrote.
She hailed Hajjat Nusula for her unwavering dedication to service, describing her passing as a blow to the Presidency and the nation at large.
“She will be dearly missed for her dedicated services to the motherland. May her soul rest in eternal peace and condolences to family, friends, and the Presidency at large.” she added
The cause of the accident remains unclear as investigations are underway, but reports indicate the crash was severe.
